Perkasie Regional Authority will be flushing the water distribution system beginning Sunday May 10, 2020 through Thursday May 21, 2020 between the hours of 11:00 pm and 6:00 am.  Although we flush the entire system during this time, customers are only affected ONE evening.  Customers will receive an automated call the day of their flushing.  To find out your property’s ONE flushing day, please visit our website at https://www.perkasieauthority.org/flushing-info

We stress the importance of not using water during this time as you will only draw dirt and sediment into your service line.  After 6:00 am if your water is still discolored, let it settle for a half hour, then run the cold water for a few minutes.  If the problem persists, customers should call the Authority office at 215-257-3654.  Additionally, we urge you to check your wash water prior to doing laundry.  Water softeners should be turned off to prevent back siphoning of the softening media.
