How Does Perkasie Borough Authority Provide the Best Water?

At Perkasie Borough Authority, we work around the clock to provide top quality water to every tap.

We are committed to ensuring that the quality of your drinking water is in compliance with not only government standards, but our standards as well. Providing public water is not only critical to public health but also ensures adequate fire protection; enables economic development; and also overall quality of life.

For the last one hundred and ten years the water and sewer services for the Borough of Perkasie have been provided by independent bodies, starting with the Perkasie Water Company in 1895. In 1955, when it was decided that the private companies were not improving the systems to meet then current standards, the Borough of Perkasie created the Perkasie Borough Authority as an independent agency to operate the water and sewer systems.

In the 50 plus years since the formation of the Authority, the numerous community members who served on The Authority Board have recognized that water and sewer issues were unique, time consuming and specialized. The Authority not only serves the Borough of Perkasie, but also customers in East Rockhill Township, Hilltown Township, and most recently West Rockhill Township, effectively and efficiently.
