Construction Update

The water line construction in Cedar View/Schwenkmill Road area is completed. Bids for the final road restoration will be received shortly and work should be completed by September.

Bids for the installation of an arsenic removal treatment system for Well #10, located on Spring Lane, have been received. The successful bidder for the treatment system was Nimaris Construction in the amount of $377,817.32. The electrical contract was awarded to Hunsberger Electric in the amount of $155,500.00. Work should begin in June and be completed by years end.

The Authority, in cooperation with East Rockhill Township, is beginning the design phase for the installation of a bicycle path along the Authority’s property on Three Mile Run Road. The path will eventually connect to the walking trail at Markey Park.
